Actions: subnet owner

Everything a subnet owner signs, from registering the subnet to tuning its hyperparameters, in one place and without btcli. Hyperparameter changes are the owner's main lever on how a subnet registers miners and scores them. Open Subnet Owner.

Most of these are sudo_set_* calls in AdminUtils. Despite the name, the chain accepts them from the subnet owner. They are usually rate-limited and closed during the admin freeze window before each epoch. Root-only parameters are not listed. Register a Subnet

Register a new subnet with its identity. The chain locks the current subnet registration cost from your balance. The hotkey becomes the subnet owner hotkey. Registering a subnet locks a large amount of TAO, set by the chain at the time of registration. Check the current cost before you sign.

Start Emissions

Start emissions on a subnet you own.

Change Owner Hotkey

Sets the subnet's owner hotkey. The chain allows this once a week per subnet.

Create a Crowdloan-Funded Leased Subnet

Open a crowdloan that registers a leased subnet when it is finalized. The chain only registers a leased subnet as the call a crowdloan runs when it is finalized, so this opens that crowdloan. Contributors receive the emissions share as dividends. Your deposit is committed to the crowdloan, and the subnet is only registered once the crowdloan reaches its cap and you finalize it.

Finalise a Crowdloan

Finalise a crowdloan you created once it has reached its cap, registering its leased subnet. Only the crowdloan's creator can finalise it, and only once the cap has been raised. Finalising runs the call attached to the crowdloan. Finalising spends the funds raised and cannot be undone.

End a Lease

End a lease after its end block and take ownership of the subnet. Only the lease beneficiary can do this, after the lease's end block. The hotkey must be owned by your coldkey. The subnet is transferred to you and the lease is removed. This cannot be undone.

Owner Cut

Turn the subnet owner cut on or off.

Owner Cut Auto-Lock

Turn automatic locking of the owner cut on or off.

Buy and Burn

Buy the subnet's alpha with TAO and burn it in one step. The TAO is swapped into the subnet's alpha through the pool and the alpha is burned in the same transaction. The trade is refused if the price moves past your max slippage. The alpha bought is destroyed. You do not receive it and this cannot be undone.

Set Miner Emission to Burn/Recycle

Route a miner's emissions to be automatically burned or recycled. Sets what happens to the miner emission sent to the subnet's burn UID.

Registration

Burn Registration

Allow or stop registration by burn.

PoW Registration

Allow or stop registration by proof of work.

Minimum Burn

Set the lowest registration burn.

Maximum Burn

Set the highest registration burn.

Burn Half-Life

Set how many blocks the registration burn takes to halve.

Burn Increase Multiplier

Set how much the registration burn rises with each registration.

Difficulty

Set the proof-of-work registration difficulty.

Immunity Period

Set how many blocks a new neuron is protected from deregistration.

Owner Immune Neuron Limit

Set how many of the owner's neurons are immune.

Max UIDs

Set the maximum number of UIDs on the subnet.

Trim to Max UIDs

Remove the lowest emitters down to a target number of UIDs. Immune and owner-immune UIDs are kept; the lowest emitters go first.

Trim Null UIDs

Prune null UIDs towards a target, at most 64 per call.

Epoch and consensus

Tempo

Set the number of blocks between epochs, within the chain's bounds. An owner change must stay within the chain's minimum and maximum tempo and is rate-limited.

Trigger an Epoch Now

Schedule an epoch to run. Blocked while commit-reveal is on.

Activity Cutoff

Set the blocks of inactivity after which a validator stops counting.

Activity Cutoff Factor

Set the activity cutoff as thousandths of the tempo.

Commit-Reveal

Turn commit-reveal for weights on or off.

Commit-Reveal Interval

Set how many epochs committed weights have to be revealed in.

Weights Version Key

Set the version key validators must use when setting weights.

Min Allowed Weights

Set the fewest weights a validator may set.

Serving Rate Limit

Set the blocks a neuron must wait between serving updates.

Rho

Set the rho consensus parameter.

Adjustment Alpha

Set the adjustment alpha parameter.

Bonds Moving Average

Set the bonds moving average.

Bonds Penalty

Set the bonds penalty.

Bonds Reset

Turn bonds reset on or off.

Yuma3

Turn Yuma3 on or off.

Liquid Alpha

Turn liquid alpha on or off.

Liquid Alpha Values

Set the low and high alpha values liquid alpha uses.

Liquid Alpha Consensus Mode

Choose which consensus values liquid alpha uses.

Epoch Consensus Mode

Choose Yuma or Null reward calculation.

Alpha Sigmoid Steepness

Set the steepness of the alpha sigmoid. Owners can only set 0 or higher.

Mechanism Count

Set the number of mechanisms on the subnet.

Mechanism Emission Split

Set how emissions are split between the subnet's mechanisms. One percentage per mechanism, in order. Leave it empty to clear the split.

Subnet Transfers

Turn alpha transfers on the subnet on or off.

Minimum Childkey Take

Set the subnet's minimum childkey take.

Collateral Lock Share

Set the share of the registration price locked as miner collateral instead of burned.

Collateral Drain Ratio

Set how much locked collateral is released per alpha of emission earned.

Voting Power Tracking

Turn voting power tracking on or off. Turning it off is scheduled: tracking continues for a 14-day grace period, then stops and clears.
