Send unstaked TAO from your wallet to another address. Use it as a quick single transfer, or to send from a wallet you are a proxy for. [Open Transfer](https://taostats.io/pro/actions/transfer).

To send TAO to many recipients in one transaction, use the [transfer app](https://taostats.io/docs/understanding-taostats/taostats-pro/taostats-transfer-app). To move staked alpha to another owner, use [Transfer Stake](https://taostats.io/docs/understanding-taostats/taostats-actions/staking#transfer-stake-trade-alpha).

> [!NOTE]
> **Paid plan**
>
> Anyone can open an action, fill it in and review the transaction. Signing and submitting requires a paid Taostats plan. Compare plans on [Billing](https://taostats.io/pro/billing), or see [Plans](https://taostats.io/docs/understanding-taostats/taostats-pro/your-taostats-account#plans).

## Actions

### [Send Free TAO](https://taostats.io/pro/actions/transfer/send-free-tao)

Sends TAO from your free balance. By default the chain refuses a transfer that would leave your wallet below the existential deposit; **Allow this wallet to be emptied** lets the transfer go through, and the chain removes the emptied account along with any dust left in it. TAO sent to the wrong address cannot be recovered.

> [!TIP]
> **Sign as a proxy**
>
> Every action on this page has a **Complete as proxy wallet** switch. Turn it on to sign with your connected wallet on behalf of a wallet that made yours its proxy. See [Proxies](https://taostats.io/docs/understanding-taostats/taostats-actions/proxies#sign-as-a-proxy-wallet).
